Tui Na and Acupuncture in Traditional Chinese Medicine

Tui Na and acupuncture are core components of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), along with herbalism and Qi Gong. These therapies have been used in China for over 2,000 years and are based on the principles of balance, prevention, and holistic care.

At the heart of TCM is the meridian system, a network of pathways that covers the entire body and carries the flow of energy, or Qi. When a blockage occurs in these meridians, it disrupts the balance and can lead to illness or discomfort. The goal of both Tui Na and acupuncture is to restore this balance by manipulating muscles, joints, and acupuncture points along the meridian pathways, allowing Qi to flow freely and the body to heal.

These whole-body therapies work not only to address symptoms but also to maintain health and prevent future imbalances.
